Bokale Brass Band is a professional brass band based in Bayonne, France. Since 2012, this seven-piece group has delivered over 500 performances on stage and in the streets, always inspired by the spirit of New Orleans brass bands.
Winners of the Jazz en Mars contest in Tarnos in 2017 and the international Haizetara brass band competition in Spain in 2022, Bokale has become a recognized name in the brass band scene.
The group recently performed and recorded their third album in New Orleans, which is currently being finalized and will be released soon. Two albums are already available.
Bokale’s performances blend traditional jazz, second line grooves, and original compositions with high energy and a festive spirit. Whether acoustic, strolling, or amplified, the band is at ease in all formats and regularly offers masterclasses for festivals, public events, or private celebrations.
