BiGuiZi - In the footsteps of New Orleans


At the beginning of the 20th century, the banks of the Mississippi saw the birth of a new musical genre resulting from work songs and other negro-spiritual: JAZZ. This music, first played by African-Americans thanks to instruments imported from Europe for white orchestras, has gained its acclaim over time to become a rich and complex genre, integrating many influences and nourishing itself. even other musical genres.
BiGuiZi * is part of this saga, from the time when the first brass bands invaded New Orleans, to the “second lines” which today sweep through the streets of what is nicknamed now "Nola".
