Batucada Lezardos Muertos
A rhythmic tribute to all Souls’ day
About
Immerse yourself in the spellbinding energy of Batucada Lézard Tape with ‘Lezardos Muertos’, a musical creation inspired by Mexico’s Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos). This theme blends the frenzied rhythms of Brazilian percussion with the vibrant colours and profound symbolism of this traditional festival.
Amidst painted skulls, marigolds (cempasúchil) and offerings, Batucada Lézard Tape invites you to celebrate life through the prism of death, in an explosion of sambas, surdos and agogos, where every note resonates as a joyful tribute to the departed.
A sonic journey where celebration and remembrance converge, to dance with the spirits in an atmosphere that is both festive and sacred.
