About
Street Bones is a brass band consisting of 10 trombonists accompanied by a parade rhythm section.
Originally inspired by the “shout bands” of Harlem and New Orleans, this ensemble—the first of its kind in Europe—revisits the roots of jazz through gospel and blues.
Classic hymns and gospel themes are given rich and powerful arrangements by Toulouse-based bass trombonist and flutist Coline LEMARCHAND and trombonists Pierre GUICQUERO and Cyril PROCH.Whether performing at street concerts or walking through the streets, Street Bones creates festive, inspiring music that touches both the heart and the body.
Street Bones captivates all audiences and truly shines in open spaces and at informal, community gatherings.
Joyful, powerful, and timeless swing!
